DIY Aromatherapy Room Freshener

Nothing can set the mood or change the ambience of a room better than some aromatherapy.  This simple solution lets you create your own aromatherapy room fresheners in the comfort of your home and customize the fragrance and bouquet of essential oils.

What You Need:
- Spray Bottle (small is best, and a fine mist nozzle is preferable)
- 30-40 drops of essential oils
- 1.5 ounces of distilled water
-1.5 ounces of vodka (You can use distilled water in place of this if you would like, however the vodka keeps the essential oil fragrance last longer.)

1. Pour all of the vodka and distilled water into the spray bottle.
2. Add 20 drops of essential oil (various types of essential oil include: lime, bergamot, ylang ylang, rose, clary sage, lemon, lavender, rosemary, grapefruit, peppermint, spearmint, and bergamot.)
3. Let the bottle sit for 24 hours and spray it to test the fragrance.  You can add more essential oil at this point if you want to make it stronger (it takes about 24 hours for the essential oil aromatherapy mixture to settle so that you can test the fragrance).
